Soooooo my cosplay is Viletta Nu and her hair is this silver grey color and so are her eyebrows!
Now I didn't plan on dyeing my eyebrows b/c i have other cosplays but I was thinking about using a silver sharpie. I know, I know it sounds kinda crazy but I tried it on my arm hair and it washes away just fine but I just wanted to know if anyone thought it was a good idea. >w<
I don't have to color my eyebrows if I don't want to....aaaannndd I probably won't lol lol but it was a possibility ^_^

I have a red wig, but I have brown hair, which means brown eyebrows. Got any suggestions for red. Otherwise I'll covering them with the wig's bangs.

Maybe I can help you guys out? I'm not a professional makeup artist but I've been into the art of makeup for about three years now. Here's my advice: For natural colored brows (specifically, if you have light blonde to medium brown colored brows and need blonde/redhead/brunette brows): You can often find things such as brow pencils or brow gel for this purpose. I know MAC does brow gel (called MAC Brow Set) and pencils, located here: www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT149&PRODUCT_ID=305 and here www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT149&PRODUCT_ID=263 . Also, you can find clear brow gel and other brow products at Sephora, as well. The Anastasia brand makes great eyebrow coloring products! sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=Anastasia&categoryId=C105For unnatural colored brows (pink, blue, purple...any color that does not sprout from your head!): I've seen a couple ways to do this. 1) Obtain clear brow gel (best choice!) or, if in a pinch, clear eye drops such as Visine. You will also need a pigmented eyeshadow or loose color pigment makeup (like MAC eyeshadow and pigments, Make Up For Ever eyeshadow and pigments, and for drugstore brand, MILANI. If you need to go the Walgreen's route for this, please, PLEASE pick Milani or L'Oreal HIP pigments/shadows!), as well as a small, clear dish (clear makeup container without any makeup works, or something similar to a petri dish). - use a clean makeup brush to get out some of the brow gel if using brow gel, or squirt a small amount (seriously, SMALL) of Visine into the dish. - Mix in the shadow/powder. If using a pressed shadow, try to get as much product onto your brush as you can. As you can imagine, it's much easier to use loose color pigment for this. Mix until it's not so much of a runny consistency, and more of a paste. - Apply to your brows. This generally works if you just want to tint your brows, not entirely dye them. If you really need to make your brows match your wig (as in, exactly to the fiber), you'll probably have to bleach them and then dye them, or seal them over with brow wax and redraw your brows on. If you're interested, I have a picture of me with my brows colored using this method (I needed teal eyebrows) with the Visine eyedrops. If you're interested, I can post it. Alternatively, here's another method that I've read about that apparently works well and is a bit cheaper. I've never done it myself, though: www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=152632I hope this helps you guys!
