Death Note movie premeire?

Anyone going? It's only on Tuesday and Weds in select movie theaters. I don't know if it's playing anywhere in St. Louis though. Just that it's playing in Edwardsville, Illinois. XD

~start cosplay rundown~ There was a small group of us from ASTL that showed up to the Mills last night (Tuesday's showing), a few of us even cosplayed. I think I was the only L and our group had one Raito, I didn't see any others there either. There were close to 3 Misas, including Misamisa (blonde) and Mimiako (brunette). Most sad is we had a Matt and I saw a near but no Mellos came. ~end cosplay rundown~

I went to the one at Chesterfield Mall yesterday. Cosplaying L with bag full of Mexican lollipops and Pocky.

I met Crack Roxas there, which was a pleasant surprise, as was seeing the Mello, Near, and Matt cosplayers, as well as a Light and a Misa.

I was so mad at myself afterward, though. I lost my courage before I could ask Mello and Near for a picture. >_>;

I wish I had photoagraphy freedom, I woulda gotten more pictures at my movie and Wed. go to Chesterfield and gotten pictures there. Part of a group though and our Raito needed to buy a red tie real quick so we were even late to the movie. XP

I went to the Mills Wednesday with CloakedSchemer and she was Light and I was L. It was really fun. We were going to the game store cause I had to return something and we hear "LIGHT AND L!" and a Misa and Near start running over to us XD So we took pictures, I handled my business and we returned to an L that joined their group. We took more pictures then headed to the theater where we saw another Misa! When we walked in to the theater where Death Note was playing someone went "OMG LIGHT AND MISA!" then saw the L's and was all " ZOMG LS!" And the place started clapping and cheering. Quite epic.

Movie wise, I thought the dub was pretty good. I have the movies already so I'd seen them before. My only peeve was that they didn't sub the text parts of the movie. Like the chat rooms about Kira or the newspaper headlines..stuff like that. The guy next to me seemed annoyed as well XD

I went last Tuesday. I was quite disappointed in the dub, and I have the movie seen it way before it was released in America, it just didn't work at all. (People clapped when I walked in too...they said I had everyone pwned. But I was In lolita and not even cosplaying...lol whatever XD)
