con differences astl

idk if this should go in general chat but yeah


so what did everyone like or dislike about this year in comparison to astl last year?
also what would you like to see next year

heres what i liked

the location- i loved the location of this con the convention center rocks and the embassy suites was very very nice much better than the stupid holiday in seriously that place was bad to me at least and the bigger size was nice from the embassy suites and the elevators werent deathly scary like the holiday inn's plus the breakfast this time was wonderful

the dealers room- i love the products lol

the sleeping samurai event- it was amazing i loved it so much until someone pegged me between the legs but even after that it was fun XD

the formal dance- was a wonderful idea

the rave- i love raves

the VA- need i say more?


what i disliked

the rave- there was only one and it was all techno and i know thats a real rave but last years was way better

i think there should have been more events but thats me ((i dun like panels other than VA panels))

what i would like to see next year

more events

better raves and one friday and saturday

more in the dealers room

Well, there's already a criticism thread in the suggestions forum.

As far as the rave music choice... there was a "Formal Ball" on Friday, that's where the traditional anime tracks popped up. It was in a smaller room, but then again, there's a smaller subsection that wants that music to dance to, so it all evens out eventually.
