It's alcoholic. . .that's quite a step for someone like me. Most times I can't tolerate alcohol unless it's in food.

Try Creme of Cassius and Orange Juice.
It's good stuff. Fruity, and in terms of strength, about the same as Mike's.

Well seeing that I am 26 and will be 27 at animestl2010 I guess I might as well put my two sence in on this. I think that anime can be enjoyed by everyone young and old. In fact I just bought this anime called "Bludgeoning Angel". This show is funny. But enough of that I was reading that many of you feel your age during these cons well put me in there with yeah cause I fell about 100 when I see all the younger kids there. Although i do make the majority of my friends there at con I still have yet to attain that one thing that has alluded me for some time...A girlfriend. yeah I think many people that know me must think that i must have the fangirls knocking my door down but they aren't. I really haven't had that much luck with that part of my life. And to make matters worse I saw my "X" at con that friday and the memories from our break-up turned me into An assh*le that night. I really hate to be emo on this page but i don't understand what I do that seems to keep me from at least being to have one. So to be blunt I do enjoy the con and all ythe friends old and new i do make there but I would really enjoy it better with some there with me you know.

My cousin is 28, and the oldest person I can think of on our staff at AP is Keith who is 44. Katana's not old yet.  The anime community is fractured, there's no denying it. One of those fractures is the generation gap. As far as the whole younger generation goes... I just wish they were more mature. I mean, yeah, they're kids, but we shouldn't let them be the lowest common denominator. We need to be bringing them up to our level. Let's face it, we're older, we run panels, we run conventions; we have influence, so let's mold these younger ones into better people, not just in the anime community, but out there in the real world as well. |
