I think It was on WGN but there were these strange Cartoons but most of them were anime and one was about a Mermaid which was cool

23 right here 24 next con. Oh well, i've got one of those faces were i can pass for younger than i am, at astl 2007 (who here remembers that one? lol) is where i made most of my con friends and they swore to god i was like 17 or 18 tops when i was 21. Likewise i know a few others that still attend, the oldest one i know that still cosplays is in his early 30's, but like me, he doesn't look his age.

I feel so old after reading this thread. I'm 24 and will be 25 by the time ASTL2010 rolls around, oh well my GF will be 32 so I won't be the oldest one :-p.

I'm 25, and gonna be close to 26 by the time ASTL 10' rolls around. I really wish I would have discovered the joys of cosplay earlier in my life, but the monetary issues would have still caused delays. Oh well, stuff happens. Enjoy life as much as possible.

When I was young I saw and watched anime all the time but I didn't know the name. My first animes where Akira and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind when I was like 5 years old. Iw ish I would have known what anime really was when I was younger so I could have enjoyed it more.
