My first costume was worn at Otakon 2002 when I was 14. I went as girl-type Ranma from Ranma 1/2.
I don't think any pictures were saved...xD It was pretty bad.

I don't think anyone recognized me when I was Ranma, but I didn't try too hard for accuracy. XD But yay, Nabiki! She's my favorite Ranma 1/2 female.  I always liked her and Ukyo best. |

That is what happened with my Nabiki cosplay. xD No one really knew who I was and some thought I was Akane and yeah. I do not think anyone took a picture. xD I don't think anyone recognized me when I was Ranma, but I didn't try too hard for accuracy. XD But yay, Nabiki! She's my favorite Ranma 1/2 female. I always liked her and Ukyo best. |

Well, as long as you didn't dress like her...xD The '80's Ranma fashions are definitely special. lol! But she has a cute haircut anyway. You should've tried to make as much money as you could, too. XD That was my favorite aspect about her...the way she managed to always come out on top financially. |

OMG! Another Nabiki fan! -squeals- I cut my hair to look like hers over the summer going into 7th grade. xD And I used to write down her quotes and everything. I even tried to set up my room like hers and buy magazines that she buys. OMG! I lied about my first cosplay. xD My first cosplay was when I was 8 or 9 and I dressed up as Kari from Season 1. I hung out with my backdoor neighbor one day and I dressed up as Kari because we were such Digimon fanatics. I even made the Digmon eggs from season 2 out of paper. Like, I wrapped pieces of paper with construction paper and stuff like that. It was so much fun. xD |

Wow, there's a wide range of ages there. But, thank you all for sharing it (I realize it may seem a bit too private). I appreciate it because I felt a little odd at first, though that wasn't going to stop me. I'm sorry I didn't reply yesterday, but my wig arrived. So, I spent about an hour playing around with it, even took a few pictures. I'm a little disappointed it's lighter than I figured. But, it's a shade darker than I first thought yesterday. It really depends on lighting because of the many different shades of blonde in it. Some lighting it's almost white blonde, in others it's a wheat-colored blonde. *is off subject now ^^; *
This place is awesome.

When I was a kid I used to take paper grocery bags and cut holes for the head and arms, then I'd draw a costume on it (usually it was a Marvel character like Wolverine/Nightcrawler or a Megaman boss).
So no, I'm not really much of a cosplayer, but I like to think that it's somewhere deep inside of me.

I was 15 when I did my first cosplay. It was in '07 at AStL :3 I went as Shippuden Temari from Naruto and I had a fan too.... but it made me realize that I will probably not ever wear a blonde wig again xD hahaha. The cosplay itself was decent though :3 I was Tayuya and the only part about my costume i actually liked was the fact that i brought my flute with me.... (i quoted Yosa cause she went with me ;P) |

I was 16 at Kunicon as Wolfwood, I liked Trigun and I kind of had the outfit already I mean Black Pants, Black crap with a White under shirt, I made the Cross a few days before, it was not my best wolfwood but it was good.

Mine was 2007 Anime STL. I was kumagoro. But I took it off because everyone's costumes looked way better and I was embarassed by my pajama cosplay. lol
