This might be my first year for cosplay, in the process of getting materials for the outfit of Ryo Marufuji, doing measurements, and "trying" to get ahold of one of those overpriced Duel Disks. SERIOUSLY! I"m not paying $100 or more for a piece of plastic.

I'm so amazed by everyone's first cosplays! More that I don't know what very many of them are—I'm trying to expand my anime/manga knowledge right now.

My first cosplay was at OMG con in 2007 at the tender age of 17. I did Son Goku from Saiyuki. I'm 19 and about to go to my 4th convention.

My first cosplay was at the last ASTl actually, and I was Sexy No Jutsu Sasuke (as a joke between me and a friend of mine). I was 18. And granted the cosplay failed horribly, it was still pretty fun. OMG I think I glomped you I was lirin last year

My first cosplay is Kakuzu. It's so fun to be that money loving guy. I get my inspiration from Mr. Krabs. XD I was 19 when I started making the cosplay, and then finished at 20 (my birthday occured when I started to make it). DID mr krabs really inspire you .XD go larxene.

My first cosplay was the chomp cat from Azumanga Daioh, and I paper mached (sp?) the head. I didn't think ahead, and I had no way to keep it on my head so it kept sliding around and turning sideways. XD I wore it to an Anime Club party at our college, and people kept stealing my head and running around with it. ^_^;; I was 18 when I made that one.

My first cosplay will be Yuki Nagato from Haruhi Suzumiya, my hair got cut shorter but I'll have to style my hair to make it more ness, and make it purple, hopefully it will show up good in my dark hair.

I was going to a Anime St. Louis '08 and my friend told me that I could get a discount if I cosplayed.
So I hopped on over to Hancock Fabrics bought some goldenrod and white fabric and in about three hours I had fashioned a set of ears, wings, and a tail. I attached the wings to an inside-out gym shirt, the ears to a couple barrets and tied the tail to the rear belt-loop of a pair of jeans.
I was Kero-chan!
Sort of.
