YOU'RE ALL LUCKY! My school only gives us 1 german class, and 5 spanish. ;___;
I refuse to take spanish, just because, and german I can easily learn on my own with my boyfriend's help...but foreign language is required for a year...

My second french teacher used to live in Japan, so she knew Japanese. She would occasionally tell us about Japan, even though she was paid to teach us French.

My boyfriend is teaching me german randomly, too. o.o i speaks russian *runs* but uhm yeah.. i'm trying.. i guess.. not too hard but little by little... so maybe in a few years i'll know a decent amount of japanese

I know a few words and phrases, been wanting to learn, but Im lazy.
I'm also afraid I'll fall into the same problem I did with Spanish.. after 3 years I could read and comprehend the spanish but I couldn't actually speak it or write it out. o= Then I got lazy again and stopped learning completely.
Mmm, it does seem like a thing anime fans would do, but it's not only because of anime, I've had an interest in their culture since I was little. Im sure if Australia and England were speaking a different language I'd be interested in learning their language too. c: But for now I can just mimic their accents and region only words. <3
