Don't forget to Pack...

I thought it might be a good idea to make a thread about stuff that should be packed so its not forgotten.
So then when you get to the con you won't be like "OH NO! I FORGOT MY .... I CAN'T SURVIVE A CON WITHOUT IT!"

Things to remember: ID, Money, some form of headache medicine (or stomach ache, etc.) Cons can get very loud and hectic at times and if you are prone to headaches this would be something sorely missed).
Cell phone (and charger),
camera (if you care about pictures with spare batteries).
Anything you wanted signed by a guest.
PJs
All pieces of your cosplay! (So I don't forget anything I write a list of every little piece of each cosplay that I bring and mark it off the list once it's packed).
In case you want some down time with your roomies bring something like a deck of cards or apples to apples.
All basic Necessities = Deodorant (too many people forget this), soap, shampoom, etc (if you don't want to use the hotel samples), Make up
If you are participating in a skit - CD that is clearly marked, pictures of your cosplay
Hot Glue gun = your best friend for cosplay malfunctions
Consider taking snacks - soda, crackers, chips, poptarts - non perishable stuff

Oh yeah I didn't mention that. I usually have a roll along bag, 2 duffel bags, and a purse. But since we have limited room in the car this time I'm keeping it down to one duffel bag and a backpack.

I only really have an old backpack I could use and that I'll need to carry my camera, camcorder etc.

Since I'm not staying I'm just bringing a small purse with money, id, medicine, cell phone, and camera. I need to go to the store to get a cheap 5 dollar one. xD

I'm worried about my merchandise getting banged up in my backpack... but I really don't have any other thing to put stuff in. Also, some things like a wall scroll aren't going to fit in my backpack lol

Im all ready getting started.

Make up, clothes, deodorant, towels, three costumes, sewing kit, money, I.D(still have to get it from court), water soda, medicine, phone, camera, battery's, my ruby tuesday discount card ^^ shampoo, hair straightener, and extra blanket.

A notebook to write the names and contact info of cool people you meet at the con.

Meds (So I won't have an Asthma attack)

MAYBE Netbook
Extra dress pants for Cosplay
Deodorant (Can't be smelling horrible in a pack room)
Breath mints

In my magic backpack this year, I'll have...
- Cellular with charger.
- Nintendo DS with charger and game(s).
- Personal hygiene tools. (Toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, Axe [there is a significant difference between deodorant and Axe. Axe is there to freshen up. Everyone needs to have something to freshen up.]
- Various beverages. (ESPECIALLY MILK TEA! AMIRITE, CAT?!)
- Headache meds. Everyone gets headaches. Everyone forgets headache medicine.
- First aid items. I'm certified in CPR from a summer at Raging Rivers, so I'll be ready.
- Notebook and pen(s).

That should cover it for now. Beings my money will always be in my pocket, and the Hammer will always be in my hand, that's all that I'll have in the magic backpack. I'll obviously have other items that stay in the room, but that's the basics. I look forward to scar--I mean, having fun with you all!

Whilst creating my "get your crap together list"... I noticed I forgot to put cellphone... haha that would suck if I forgot that.

o kgods i always have a list!
and then i go thru and recheck it twice
and then when i pack to leave the con i check it twice again. just to make sure i dont forget anything.
i even divide the list between bags and such
