Personally, I got bored in Printing class and I decided to play with Google Earth. I did a search of the convention center and made it show eateries, gas stations, etc. Most stuff seems across the highway and even then still several blocks away. Looking at a map is no where close the real thing. I guess the cafe, there is either one at the hotel or convention center, is alright but I kinda would like to be able to do some variety.
Can anyone tell me if there is anything close to the convention center? And not across the highway? I know there is a Quik Trip close by.

Around the Convention Center and Hotel is a big parking lot. But as for food... no idea. =B I think there's a Dennys or something to that effect near it, but I don't know St. Charles all that well. I also don't know if the Hotel as eateries because I only went into the Convention Center when I went to look at it. The CC has a cafe thing. =3

If your staying in the hotel it would be cheaper to just bring food with you. Embassy Suites rooms have fridges and microwaves that you can use in each room.

Holy crap there is tons of food by you, if you hop on the highway and go down an exit to Mid Rivers and turn left there is: Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Wendys, and Arbys, and a bit farther down there is a Dairy Queen. As for nicer places: Ruby Tuesdays, Max and Ermas *inside mall*, Bob Evans, and Chillis. There is also a mall, Mid Rivers Mall, that has some food stuff, and the best tea shop in the world DX Then if I'm not mistaken to the right of the hotel is Saint Charles and you'll be able to find restaurants too. If you hop on First Capital and go left there is a small restaurant called Gingham's open 24/7 and a bit down from that is TGIFs.
Hope this gives people an idea!
