Vizard: Yes, that is true, but no one can help the fact that there are pointy sticks around. It is a park, after all. We can, however, help the fact that there are more objects in which people can beat one another up with.

As long as I know enough in advance, I should be able to request off work and be there!~ If it's a weekend when I have my daughter, then she'll be along too.

I thought about bringing my little sister along, too. I try to establish a date as soon as enough people attending give me some input. Ultimately I go with what works for the majority of the attendees, and the date is announced at /least/ a month prior to it. Hopefully that'll be enough time for you. ^^ |

yes i have to agree with sabi cause i to wil be having summer school and dont want to miss most of it like last year cause i had to basicaly walk to the park even though my school is only a few minutes away from there

Okay, so right now it's between the beginning of June and sometime in July, after summer school is done for some people.
Still looking at ANY date, though. We've got a few weeks until the con still, and a few months until the picnic. Plenty of time. =3

I still vote beginning of june because it's likely to be a lot hotter in july, and since post people cosplay to this it's just an overall better idea imo. And as far as the kids in summer school go, i don't think it would interfere if the picnic was on a saturday.

The picnic will most likely be during the weekend, seeing as week days, even during the summer, typically don't work well for a lot of people. There's no guarantee that it'll be on a Saturday, so the issue of summer school is still valid.
From what I've read so far it seems that July works out better for people. June might offer us cooler weather (not by much, as we all know from previous picnics) though.

well if its on a saturday it would be best so we should make it a saturday and if we find a date then people can plan ahead and such and the mojority of people will most likely make it so i go for june also
