Mmm, OMGCon, that's right. Okay, so that weekend is off limits. No problem. ^^ There's three other weekends in June that are still available and all of July.

I probably won't be going to this now, I didn't meet anybody to really know me for it to be worth my time. /emo

Kgods: So what if you didn't meet anyone at the convention? The picnic offers another opportunity to meet people, and in my opinion it's actually better for meeting people. Everyone's not all high on convention stuff, and we're generally more relaxed and chill. :3

If I'm not swamped with stuff I'll try to make it... just give me the time/place. Thankfully my depressive spell has lifted a bit. I hate suffering with anxiety/depression.

I probably won't be going to this now, I didn't meet anybody to really know me for it to be worth my time. /emo From what I've seen from your posts about this it looks like you were waiting for people to approach you. If you want friends you have to make the effort to make them. ASTL was actually not that cool for me in '07 and '08 because I didn't do this. It wasn't until the Mall Meetup that I met some friends and from there it spiraled into me meeting friends of my friends and then meeting new people at the con because I was more confident.

tatNot quite, I did make some effort to talk to people and stuff that's generally out of my normal comfort zone. I'm a fairly shy and reclusive person. Even going to the con was a bit odd for me... in theory anyway.

I plan on announcing the date of the picnic at the end of the week, so look for an updated first post on Sunday (hopefully.)
Also, an idea I had: What if we did an anime/manga trade thing? I know it's been done before, but it would be an additional thing to add to the picnic. If people want to bring stuff to trade and swap we can set up a blanketed area and have at it. Just an idea I /just/ had.

I've got a Code Geass wallscroll I could give away... mostly because the way things are right now there's not much room for it.
