Time: 11am 'til 6/7pm
This year I'm going to post a few guidelines. Over the years the picnic has grown a lot, and I want to make sure that everything remains as safe as possible.
1.) No weapons, be they foam, wooden, etc. They can be a hazard (an unintentional one.) Especially since our shindig is right next to a children's park. We don't want anyone to get hurt! ]- Since several people have expressed a deep desire to go at it with their weapons, I've come to a conclusion: All sword-fighting can be done down by the lake. There is a large flight of stairs right by where we'll all be, and that will take you right down to the lake.
2.) This isn't really a safety rule, but it'd be nice if everyone brought something to share with the group. This has never been an issue before, but I feel it should be said never the less.
3.) Again, this isn't a safety rule, but please...leave the drama at home. People come to this picnic to enjoy themselves, and no one enjoys drama. Well, some people do, but that's another story...
4.) Please, please, please...no alcohol.
Vexy; Cooler of ice, soda pop (some), napkins, paper plates, plasticware?
Unisaurusrex; soda and "such business" xD
Hakkai; a cooler, ice, water, soda, and maybe something to munch on
Tat; babies, among other various things
Kgods; soda, hamburgers, ketchup, cooler
Nyuu; cookies and pie
This year we're also going to a swap-meet! So bring any anime, manga, videogames, cards, etc. that you want to get rid of. :3
Other activities;
Baby shaking
Extreme ironing
Underwater basket weaving
Twister <3
